Journal of Social and Society Tarombo (JSST) is an international academic journal supported by PT Tarombo Research Development. The journal accepts compelling original articles that draw on the latest research concerning policies and developments in the social sciences and society at national, regional and international levels. The journal accepts scholarly articles—both theoretical and empirical—that analyse various aspects of social policy and its relationship with society from diverse perspectives. Contributions on issues of teaching and learning within this discipline are also welcome. Each issue contains peer-reviewed articles and, uniquely, a themed section edited by a Guest Editor. Each themed section includes an introductory article, a series of peer-reviewed articles, a selected review of key literature, and a guide to key resources in the field.

Marlajar: Journal of Science, Technology, and Innovation
Marlajar: Journal of Science, Technology, and Innovation is an international scientific journal dedicated to publishing original, peer-reviewed research articles in the fields of science, technology, and innovation. The word “Marlajar” comes from the Simalungun Batak language and means “belajar” or “berlatih.” Scientifically, it refers to the active process of building knowledge through the scientific method, which involves observation, experimentation, and communication. This journal accepts manuscripts covering a wide range of topics, including natural and applied sciences, engineering and technology, information and communication technology, industrial innovation, renewable energy, and environmental studies. Submitted manuscripts will be reviewed by the journal’s editorial board. All submitted articles must present original research findings that have not been previously published and will undergo a peer-review process. Articles submitted to this journal must meet these criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. Manuscripts must adhere to the journal’s style guidelines and will undergo a peer-review process as well as editorial editing. Marlajar is published twice a year in February and August, promoting innovative, sustainable, and forward-looking contributions that support scientific progress and technological development at both the national and international levels.

Marsiurupan: Journal of Community Development and Empowerment in Simalungun. “Marsiurupan” means mutual aid or helping one another. This word is derived from the root word “urip” or “urup” (to help). Gotong Royong: Reflects the spirit of togetherness and cooperation among residents to lighten heavy workloads. Social Solidarity: Demonstrates a spirit of mutual care and support for fellow community members or family members. Harmony: Serves as a strong foundation for maintaining harmony in community and family life within the Simalungun tradition.
Marsiurupan: Journal of Community Development and Empowerment is a scientific journal that aims to publish and disseminate the results of innovative, sustainable, and impactful community service in supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This journal focuses on community development through empowerment, capacity building, social innovation, and the transfer of knowledge and technology to solve various community problems comprehensively. The scope of the journal integrates a multidisciplinary approach from the fields of management, accounting, communication sciences, and education in designing, implementing, evaluating, and developing effective, participatory, and sustainable community service programs in realizing the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
